The North Ayrshire
Fiddle Workshop

NAfW

Welcome to the web pages of The North Ayrshire Fiddle Workshop.

During school term, we hold classes for absolute beginners*, intermediate and advanced players. Details for the Autumn term will be posted later this Summer. If you would like to play traditional Scottish fiddle music, please come along. A limited number of loan fiddles is available; no previous knowledge of music is required.

* Unfortunately, we have had to (hopefully, temporarily) stop our adult beginner's class as attendances have fallen off. There were not enough folks turning up for it to continue -  some nights no-one was attending; so this class on ice. If enough folks indicate that they would like to learn from scratch (we're thinking 3 or 4) then we could possibly restart the this class but, at the moment, we can't afford to run it when there seems to be no demand.

Kids classes and the other adult classes will continue as normal.
